The Final Countdown!

Anyhoodle, I’m well aware that everyone who reads my blog (i.e. my friends) also reads the Slap blog, but it’s made it to the final round of the Canadian Blog Awards! Which is an unremarkableness, since Mark is one talented mofo and I am enormously proud to call him my friend, and also system administrator. If we don’t stand up to anti-gay bigotry, it’s like we’re condoning it. Which is not cool.

And if you don’t vote for Slap in the Canadian Blog Awards, you’re condoning… well, I’ll let you fill in the rest.

Vote for the best! Vote Slap! And spread the word. Also, please don’t hold it against him that he foolishly let me do a guest post. The overall quality of the blog appears to be unaffected.

   Sorry Mark! I think it was one of those cases where an unmoderated comment got counted because it looked legit to the spam-catcher, but didn’t show up because it didn’t look quite legit enough, if that makes any sense. I think that’s the first time Slap Upside the Head has ever commented here, so it got flagged as potential spam.

   Anyway, when do we get the results? Surely it doesn’t take that long to count electronic votes!
